Finding Slope of a Line

Slope of lineBefore we start, we need to see if the slope is going up or down. In this case,it is going uphill, so we now know it is positive. Now we need to find where the line touches an intersection of the graph. All you need is 2 points, but there will usually be more than 2, but it doesn’t matter which ones you pick. After you pick the 2 points, and sense it’s a positive slope, go up and right, starting from the bottom point to the highest point, in this case, I got 2/1, but lets change it to just a 2. Always make sure you do your Y axis first, then your X axis.
